We love locals and visitors enjoying our beloved lighthouse. Currently the only way to view the lighthouse is on a chartered tour or fishing expedition such as those offered by Cruise the Chesapeake or Watermark, on a photography workshop as those provided by Lerro Photography or Jay Fleming Photography or by private boat. See more options below.
We do occasionally arrange private tours of the lighthouse for educational purposes. This, however, depends on the season as well as the condition of the lighthouse to ensure safety for all. Contact us for more information on touring the lighthouse.
Baltimore Harbor Light is available for tours and events on a limited, case-by-case basis. Contact us to learn how you can get up close and personal to this amazing piece of Baltimore history!
The Baltimore Light is 1.8 miles off Gibson Island on the north side of the Magothy River, and about 1.8 miles from Tydings on the Bay on the south side of the river.
The coordinates are 39° 03' 30" N, 076° 23' 56" W.
Watermark® immerses you in the history, culture, and fun of the Chesapeake area and is proud to share treasures like the Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse with locals and visitors alike.
